Where when and why did you start snowboarding: In The Netherlands on dry slopes, when i was 11 years old. Before that i skied but my brother changed to snowboarding, so I did to after i saw what you could do with it.
When did you realize you want to become a pro snowboarder: I just finished high school and didn't knew what i wanted to do after. Snowboarding went good and some of my sponsors gave me the change to a fort a season in the snow. So i toke it to see if I could be come pro.
What´s your favorite terrain right now and where do you want to improve in the future: Park,but i definitely what to get better in the backcountry to hit some big jumps.
What´s the best/worst thing about being pro snowboarder: The best is that you get to do what you love most, Snowboarding! The worst is that you are on the road the most of the time, so it's hard to see friends and family.
Who are your influences in the sport itself and in life in general: Stine Brun Kjeldaas. She learned me a lot about the professional way of snowboarding and shows me to look positive at everything in life.
What´s the biggest difference between living in Uden/Netherlands or Birarritz/France? First of all I can surf in BIarritz, something i love to do. The weather is nicer. But my family still lives i Uden :-( .
What are your goals for the coming seasons? To focus on my slopestyle contest and film for the Nitro movie.
